Though it has started as a dull wet day in London, I hoped to bring a few sparkly smiles to the assorted Sparkly Armies faces today.
Do you all remember my 'Red, White & Blue' competition that I ran for the King's coronation?
I wanted to wait until I had finished and delivered all three pieces, before showing them on the page, and while I will create a separate post for each; where you can get the details for the individual pieces, I thought it would be nice to show an image of each for now... just to wet your appetites.
It was a good competition for my page Magpies, though a couple of the stones had to be passed down the line of successful entrants for one reason or another. I was, however, undaunted in my progressive search for a winner that could take each piece on.
H.G competitions have always found a winner, one way or another, which is just one of the things I know you've all come to rely on for the past 13years.
The competition itself included the stone and all Labour cost as the prize fund, with just materials, any additional stones, and all external costs like Assay and presentation box/postage to pay for. on these pieces, where there was a decent labour cost to make them at my bench, it meant quite a huge prize pot for the ladies that won each stone (especially when combined with the cost of the stone itself!)
You can see that each eventual owner of the stones went down very different routes for their piece, making each as wonderfully unique as the ladies that will be wearing them.
I hope you are all entering my latest COMPETITION?
If you haven't yet entered you may want to go and read https://www.hgbespoke.com/post/welcome-to-the-h-g-bespoke-website-and-blog as there is a #diamondring in the hat ready to be awarded to one Magpie in October (probably close to my birthday on the 20th).
Go check it out.
In the meantime I'd be interested in what you think of these three past winners choices for their Red, White, and Blue stones?
Kindest Regards.
Your H.G
